A nature adventure you cannot miss! We leave the city and enter the lush mountains that surround the Central Valley - spectacular vegetation and coffee fields, ornamental plants and picturesque towns typical of Costa Rica. As we climb you will notice the change in the climate, as you go through the so-called "micro-climates", a characteristic which explains Costa rica
intense biodiversity.
The canopy tour is a lifetime experience, you climb a specially built platform and glide along the jungle canopy - the tops of the trees where the fauna of the rainforest live. The cables you glide along are over a mile long and pass across twelve platforms. In addition, the San Lorenzo canopy tour offers one of the longest cables in the country - almost a third of mile long! A trained guide will explain the most important aspects of the forest we are observing. After this exhilirating nature ride we take a short walk and have a delicious lunch at the Gran Vista restaurant.
Recommendations: Camara, light clothing, comfortable shoes, repellent and a change of clothes.
